Yep same issue its really ridiculous actually! We went into McDonald's then i went off to the hospital for an appointment. My Husband stayed around the strip mall with my son. Looking at the ticket they are saying that we left the parking lot at 8:51 apparently even though we were in McDonald's and issued the ticket at 8:55 Like really 4 minutes! It's 2 hour shopping parking time! Pretty crooked if you ask me!

Do not live here. The hallways are filthy, it always reeks of smoke as seniors do not think the new rules apply to them. The atrium always smells of Asian cooking and garbage. Also, if you are not over the age of 55, you are not welcome to come to any events they hold or to use the gym, which you are paying the same amount for rent and it is not paid for by the senior's society so it truly is age discrimination. There is constantly fire alarms going off so you never get any sleep, and the place has been under construction for two years so there is always noise. AVOID THIS HELL HOLE IF YOU CAN.

I had the same issue with parking: parked my car, walked a block to CIBC to do my banking, returned to Dominion Centre within 20minutes to fill a prescription at Shopper's & have lunch at Subway & found a ticket on my car. Called Impark & they said that you can't leave the parking lot even if it's for one minute whether the sign says so or not! For over 25 years now, I have been frequenting 1-5 businesses 1-4 times a month in this strip mall & guess what? I won't be any more! Mark my words, I'll go out of my way to do business elsewhere from now on, just like I did yesterday when I drove across the street to Santa Lucia for lunch!

Albutt was named after Alfred James Albutt, born in 1727, died in 1816. He was the first person in the Charleswood region (at the time) who made an entire sweater out of spider silk. it took him most of his life to collect the silk, and he suffered many spider bites in the process.

About Trappers:
Trappers Transport Ltd. was originally founded by Dan Omeniuk in 1985. The company originally started out as a single truck operation that operated out of Birds Hill, Manitoba. It remained at this location until 1995, at which time it then moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba. The operations had expanded to 8 trucks by the time of the move.
Trappers first commercial space was leased at Niakwa Road in Winnipeg, where the company established their main office to manage all aspects of their operations for approximately 2 years. Their dock facilities were leased at a second location, and the maintenance shop was located at a third location. In 1997 Trappers Transport Ltd. moved to 344 Dawson Road in Winnipeg. This move immediately allowed the company to combine their office space and dock space into one location.
In November, 2001 Trappers moved to 135 Saunders which allowed the company to house its administrative offices, maintenance facilites and dock into one location.
In June 2004, Trappers moved to to its current location at 2475 Day Street.
Trappers Transport specializes in the transportation of temperature sensitive goods. We currently service many large companies who are involved in the foodstuffs industries, as well as a wide array of other customers that may only require dry van transportation services. Besides the relatively common products transported, Trappers has in the past, transported everything from mounted trophy animals for northern communites, to experimental prototype engines for major automobile manufacturers.
Trappers Transport utilizes telephone, fax, cellular phone, wireless radio and satellite communications systems in its daily operations. This wide array of technologies allows us to maintain constant contact with our drivers while they are en-route, enables us to accurately locate any given shipment, and gives us the ability to issue accurate eta's upon request. It also provides us with the flexibility to re-route shipments, or to add additional pickups or drops, depending on a customers' specific needs.
